Who we are

Webylance (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the online store at https://webylance.org, where customers design and order customised print-on-demand products that are produced and shipped within Europe. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Webylance is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. What data we collect

• Account data — name, email address and password if you create an account.
• Order data — billing and shipping address, email, phone number, the products ordered and order history.
• Design data — artwork, text and images you upload or create in our product studio in order to customise a product.
• Payment data — payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and cookies collected automatically when you use the site (see “Cookies” below).
• Communications — messages you send us for support or enquiries.

How we use your data and our legal bases

• To create and manage your account and to process, produce and deliver your orders — performance of a contract.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates and service messages — performance of a contract.
• To provide customer support and respond to enquiries — legitimate interest.
• To operate, secure and improve our website and prevent fraud — legitimate interest.
• To comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations — legal obligation.

Who we share your data with

We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run the store. Each acts as a processor or independent controller under its own privacy policy:

• Printful — print-on-demand fulfilment partner. We share your design files and shipping details so your product can be produced and dispatched. See Printful’s privacy policy.
• Printify — print-on-demand fulfilment partner used for certain products. Design files and shipping details are shared for production and dispatch. See Printify’s privacy policy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Payment and billing details are processed by Stripe. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• PayPal — payment processing, including PayPal and local payment methods. See PayPal’s privacy policy.
• Shipping carriers — the couriers used by our fulfilment partners to deliver your order.
• Hosting and technical providers — the infrastructure that runs and secures our website.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers (including Printful, Printify, Stripe and PayPal) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies that are required for the website to work — for example to keep items in your shopping cart, maintain your session and process checkout securely. These do not require consent. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent before they are set.

How long we keep your data

We keep order and transaction records for as long as required to fulfil the order and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Account and design data are kept while your account is active. Where data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
